It does not take long to whip up a batch of lemon sugar, and it’s a great way to show off if you have company coming. Use it to rim cocktail classes, Lemonade glasses, or replace it with regular sugar in recipes.
And just by adding 1/4 of coconut oil, it can be used as a body scrub!

Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 lemon
Instructions
- Using a microplane, zester, or peeler remove the zest from your lemon
- If you use a peeler then chop the lemon rind into smaller pieces
- Add the sugar and lemon zest to the food processor and blitz for 1 to 2 minutes
- store in an airtight container
- Use this lemon sugar in anything you would use sugar in that you would like to add a lemon flavor to.
