Elote Compound Butter

Elote Compound Butter: A Bold Spread with Street Corn Flavor

If you’re already a fan of Mexican street corn, you’re going to love this. My Elote Compound Butter brings all the flavor of grilled elote—smoky, cheesy, zesty, and just a touch sweet—into a creamy, spreadable form. And the best part? It starts with my homemade Elote Seasoning blend, made from real ingredients you can feel good about.

This butter is a little indulgent, a lot flavorful, and endlessly versatile. Whether you’re slathering it on grilled corn, melting it over roasted veggies, or adding a savory kick to baked potatoes or cornbread, it’s an easy way to take everyday dishes to the next level.

Why Elote Butter Works

Traditional elote is grilled corn slathered in mayo, cotija cheese, lime, and chili powder—messy, bold, and totally addictive. This compound butter captures that same flavor in a much more versatile format.

  • Butter brings the creamy base.

  • Elote Seasoning provides smoky heat, umami, and depth.

  • Cotija Cheese adds a salty, funky edge.

  • Lime Zest and Juice keep it bright.

  • Cilantro (optional) adds freshness and color.

It’s sweet, salty, tangy, and savory all at once—just like real street corn.

Refrigerate for at least 1 hour until firm.
    Slice and use as needed.
  • Storage: Keeps for 2 week in the fridge or up to 6 months in the freezer. Wrap tightly to avoid absorbing other flavors.
