Chili and Lime Roasted Peanuts
Ingredients
- 2 cups Unsalted Peanuts
- 1 Lime, the zest and juice
- 2 tsp Avocado oil Or Coconut or EVOL
- 2 tsp Pure cane sugar
- 1 tsp Sea Salt
- 1 tsp Chili powder
- 1/2 tsp Cayenne pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 300°
- Add the peanuts to a bowl and add each ingredient one at a time, tossing after each addition.
- Spread the peanuts evenly onto a large baking sheet. I cover my baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Bake peanuts in a preheated oven for 30-40 minutes, stirring two or three times during cooking, until nuts are golden brown and almost dry to the touch. Let cool completely before serving.
