Homemade lemon pepper seasoning is easy to make, but it’s also a healthier and more cost-effective option compared to store-bought versions that may contain added preservatives and fillers. Plus, making your own seasoning allows you to customize the ratio of ingredients to suit your taste preferences.
Now, let’s talk about the many ways you can use homemade lemon pepper seasoning to elevate your meals. One of the most popular uses of this seasoning is on meats, such as chicken, fish, and pork. Simply rub the seasoning onto the meat before cooking, and you’ll have a juicy and flavorful dish.
Not a meat-eater? No problem! Lemon pepper seasoning also works wonders on vegetables. Toss some carrots, broccoli, or asparagus in a bit of olive oil and a generous amount of seasoning before roasting them in the oven. The result? A tasty and healthy side dish that will impress even the pickiest eaters.
But it doesn’t stop there. Get creative and sprinkle some lemon pepper seasoning onto popcorn for a tangy twist on a classic snack. Use it in salad dressings, marinades, or even in your morning scrambled eggs for a delicious start to your day.
