Pea salad is a classic dish that has been around for decades, and for good reason. It’s refreshing, nutritious, and just downright delicious!
Let’s start with the star ingredient—peas. These little green gems are not only tasty but also packed with nutritional benefits. They are a great source of fiber, protein, and vitamins A, C, and K.
But what really sets this homemade pea salad apart is the dressing. A creamy mayonnaise-based dressing is typically used for this salad, but you can also use a yogurt-based dressing for a healthier option. The dressing adds a tangy and slightly sweet flavor that complements the peas perfectly.
