Montreal Steak Seasoning
Homemade Montreal steak seasoning is a delicious blend of spices. It adds a bold and savory flavor to any cut of meat. With this easy-to-make recipe, homemade Montreal steak seasoning is a great way to elevate the taste of any dish at home.

- 2 Tbsp Whole peppercorns
- 2 Tbsp Paprika
- 2 Tbsp Kosher salt
- 1 Tbsp Dried onion flakes Or onion powder
- 1 Tbsp Dried garlic flakes Or garlic powder
- 2 tsp whole coriander
- 2 tsp whole mustard seeds
- 2 tsp Dried dill or whole dill seeds
- 2 tsp Dried rosemary
- 1-2 tsp Crushed red pepper flakes
- 1 tsp Whole celery seeds
Combine all spices and grind with a mortar and pestle or spice grinder. Or, place the spices in a zip-loc bag and crush them with a rolling pin or heavy skillet.
I find it best to do the peppercorns first on their own and give them and initial crush as they are the hardest.
Store in an airtight container in a cool dark place.
