Healthy Homemade Coffee Creamer Sweetened With Dates

A healthy coffee creamer without additives, chemicals, or artificial ingredients and sweetened with dates in place of sugar.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups whole milk, half-and-half, cream, or 2% milk
  • 6-8 Medjool dates, pitted
  • Pinch of sea salt

Optional Ingredients

  • 2 tsp vanilla extract (or flavor of your choice)
  •  1–2 tsp cocoa powder, cinnamon, or seasonal spice blend

Instructions
 

  • Soften the dates
    Place pitted dates in a heatproof bowl and cover with hot water. Soak for 10–15 minutes until softened.
    Blend smooth
    Drain dates and add to a blender with 2 cups of milk. Blend on high until completely smooth.
    Strain (optional)
    For a silky finish, pour through a fine mesh strainer or nut milk bag.
    Finish the mix
    Add the remaining 2 cups of milk, vanilla, salt, and any optional ingredients. Stir or shake to combine.
    Store & enjoy
    Store in the fridge for up to 5 days. Shake before using.
