Easy one pot macaroni and cheese
Ingredients
- 1 cup Elbow macaroni
- 2 cups Milk
- 21/2 cups Cheese I like a mix of cheeses, american is a nice creamy cheese, but you can use montary jack, pepper jack.
- 4 oz Cream cheese
- 1 tsp Dried mustard powder
- 1/8 tsp White pepper
- 1 tsp Kosher salt
Instructions
- Bring the milk to a low boil, Do not boil to hard as it can scorch the milk.
- Add the macaroni, stirring for the first minute to ensure he pasta does not clump togeather.
- Set a timer for 14 minutes, stirring every two minutes.
- While the pasta is cooking, shred your cheese, and gather your seasonings.
- Test your pasta after 14 minutes, and cook anoutherminute if it is not done.
- Stir in the cheese, cream cheese, mustard powder, white pepper and salt.
- Turn off the heat and stir until all the cheese is melted.
- Taste and season with more salt and pepper if needed.
