Maple Pecan Butter
Sweet and crunchy sweet butter thats perfect for breakfast or desserts
Ingredients
- 2 sticks unsalted butter if using salted don't add any more salt
- 1/2 cup toasted chopped pecans
- 1/2 cup pure maple syrup
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp brown sugar optional
Instructions
- mix all ingredients in a bowl with a stiff spatula until wee combined
- form into a log on a piece of parchment paper or plastic wrap
- place in an airtight ziplock bag and store in the fridge or the freezer
- will keep in the fridge for several weeks or 6 months in the freezer
