Nestled under the centries old live oak trees of the Beaufort Courthouse sits the Olde Beaufort Farmers market. Open Saturday mornings from 9:00 – 1:00, mid-April thru mid-November.
The OBFM is a non-profit organization that is focused on enhancing the quality of life in Carteret County by engaging the public in healthy lifestyle choices concerning fresh food, sustainable environments, and agricultural practices. With only a 12-minute walk from the free dingy dock in Beaufort, it’s well worth the stroll thru this beautiful town that is on the national register of historic places. So if you are traveling thru the outer banks, don’t miss the chance for a Saturday morning under the live oaks.
They also give local artists an opportunity to showcase all their hard work and dedication.
