Jamaican Jerk Wet Rub
spicey marinade for chicken or pork
- 4-6 green onions
- 1-4 habanero let your own desire for heat determine how many
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup cider vinegar
- juice from one lime
- juice from one orange
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 recipe Jamaican jerk spice blend
in a food processor or a blender add all ingredients and pulse to combine and break, you want to mix it well and break up all the big chunks but not puree
rub on bone in skin on chicken or pork and let sit in the fridge overnight
