Homemade Remoulade Sauce

Homemade remoulade sauce is a classic French condiment made with mayonnaise, mustard, herbs, and seasonings. It has a flavorful and tangy taste, perfect for adding a zesty kick to sandwiches, seafood, and other dishes. This versatile sauce is easy to make at home, allowing you to customize the ingredients to your liking. It's a must-have in any kitchen for adding a burst of flavor to any meal.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup Finally chopped dill pickles
  • 1 tbsp Chopped capers
  • 1-2 Anchovies finely chopped and with the side of your knife made into a paste
  • 1-2 tsp Horseradish
  • 1/2 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp chopped chives
  • 1 tsp chopped tarragon It's okay if you can't find this. herb and have to leave it out.
  • 1 tsp Freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp White wine vinegar
  • 3-4 drop Drop's hot sauce
  • 1/4 tsp Freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Kosher salt

Creole. - Cajun Version

  • 1-2 tsp Creole seasoning
  • You can use this to replace the chives and tarragon. And add more to your liking.

Instructions
 

  • Mix all ingredients well.
  • If you have the time let the sauce sit an hour or 2 it will develop even more flavor. You can even make it the day before.
