Herb Compound Butter

butter enhanced with herbs

Ingredients
  

  • 2 sticks unsalted butter at room temperature
  • 1 tbsp parsley chopped
  • 1 tbsp oregano chopped
  • 1 tbsp thyme chopped
  • 1 tbsp rosemary chopped
  • 1 tbsp basil chopped
  • 1 tbsp finely diced shallots
  • 2 cloves garlic finely minced
  • 1 tbsp spicy dijon mustard
  • hot sauce to taste
  • few drops of worstershire
  • 2 good pinches of kosher salt
  • a few grinds of fresh pepper

Instructions
 

  • mix all ingredients well
  • using parchment paper or plastic wrap roll the butter into a log about 6 inches long and 1 inch around
  • twist the ends and place in the fridge in an airtight bag
