Ginger Shots

Ginger shots are a simple, compact way to support your health from the galley or home kitchen. They’re quick to make, easy to store, and packed with benefits that your body will thank you for. Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup fresh ginger root (peeled and roughly chopped)
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp raw honey 
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric or small piece of fresh turmeric 
  • Pinch of cayenne or black pepper
  • 1/2 - 1 cup filtered water

Instructions
 

  • Add all ingredients to a blender.
    Blend on high until smooth.
    Strain through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth.
    Pour into jars or shot bottles.
  • Refrigerate up to 5 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
  • Ginger shots freeze beautifully.
    Just pour them into:
    Silicone ice cube trays
    Mini glass jars
    Reusable freezer pouches
    They’ll last about 3 months in the freezer. To use, thaw overnight in the fridge or warm briefly in a bowl of water.
