Classic Deviled Eggs

Classic deviled eggs are a timeless appetizer made from hard-boiled eggs, halved and filled with a creamy mixture of egg yolks, mayonnaise, mustard, vinegar, and a pinch of seasoning. Typically garnished with paprika and fresh herbs, these bite-sized treats offer a perfect balance of richness and tang, making them a popular choice for gatherings and celebrations.

Ingredients
  

  • 6 Hard-boiled eggs
  • 2-3 tbsp Mayonaise
  • 1 tsp Yellow mustard or Dijon
  • 1 tsp Apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Sweet relish
  • Kosher salt and pepper to taste
  • Paprika or chives for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Peel the hard-boiled eggs and slice them in half lengthwise.
  • Remove the yolks and place them in a mixing bowl. Set the egg whites aside.
  • Mash the yolks with a fork, then add mayonnaise,starting with 2 tbsp and adding more if needed, mustard, vinegar, relish, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  • Sprinkle the egg whites with salt and pepper.
  • Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg white halves.
  • Sprinkle with paprika and garnish with fresh herbs before serving.
