Cajun Seasoning
Cajun seasoning is a robust, zesty blend of spices that reflects the rich culture and culinary traditions of Louisiana. Combine all the ingredients. Make sure to mix thoroughly to ensure an even distribution of spices.
Or give everything a whirl in a spice grinder, blander or food proccecer. This helps to break up the dried herbs, and how I do it.
Taste and Adjust: Taste your mixture and adjust the salt and cayenne pepper if desired. If you prefer more heat, add a pinch more cayenne. Store: Transfer your Cajun seasoning into an airtight container or jar. Label it with the date, and it should last up to six months in a cool, dark place.
