Apple Crisp for Two

Topping
- 4 tbsp Butter, melted
- 1/3 cup Old fashioned oats
- 1/4 cup AP fLour
- 1 tbsp Cane sugar
- 1 tbsp Brown sugar
- 1/8 tsp Kosher salt
- 1/8 tsp Nutmeg
Apples
- 2 Apples peeled and sliced or chopped
- 2 tbsp Butter melted
- 1 tbsp Cane sugar
- 1 tbsp Brown sugar
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- 1½ tsp Cinnamon
- 1½ tsp Fresh Lemon juice

If using a cast iron, melt the butter in it, turn off the heat, and stir in the sugars, vanilla, and cinnamon.
Toss in the apples, and add the lemon juice tossing well.
If using an 8 by 8 baking dish, whisk the melted butter with the sugars, vanilla, and cinnamon. Add the apples and lemon juice and toss well. Then add to baking dish.
Sprinkle the oat mixture all over the top and place in the oven.
bake 25 minuted and serve with vanilla ice cream.
